Carol’s Pet Grooming Salon is a full-service salon for all breeds of dogs. Our staff has over 30 years of experience in grooming. We have been providing the best services at affordable prices in the Sayville area since 1989. We know that your furry children mean so much to you. Our loving, compassionate staff provides unsurpassed grooming services. We have many loyal customers. Knowing your pet’s name and greeting them with a smile encourages an environment where they feel safe and loved. This approach means you and your dog will have a great experience with us. We have over 30 years of experience

Carol Madison has been grooming since 1976. As a graduate of Mr. Groom in New York, she has been responsible for training many groomers including all employees in this salon. Carol participated in many competitions, often finishing in either first or second place. “I love what I do and feel I have made a difference since opening this salon. It makes me feel good knowing that any pet coming to Carol’s will be treated with love and understanding.”

In September of 2013 after training and working under Carol, Michael Genovesi purchased the grooming business. Within 6 months of new ownership one of our long term senior clients surrendered his pup to us because he was 13 years old and needed hospice care that he could not manage himself. We brought the pup to our personal vet and he was diagnosed as a diabetic. From that point forward we knew there was a need for a safe place pets could go to be cared for without being surrendered to a city/town shelter with the fear of them being euthanized. Carol’s Pet Grooming Salon revamped their business model to include Carol’s Senior Pet Sanctuary. We work with numerous 501c3 rescues all over the country to pool our resources together to help as many animals in need as we can.

Over the years we have cared for numerous senior and bonded pups, all with varying chronic illnesses. Some have found new families, and some have retired with us being loved and cared for until the very end. Each time we lose a pet whether it’s a grooming client or a rescue pup a piece of our heart goes with them. My commitment to provide safety, love and compassion for all animals means everything to me.
