Just like people pets experience aging such as loss of eyesight, loss of hearing and arthritis. Our #1 priority is the comfort of your senior or disabled pet through the grooming process. Just let us know that your pet has a disability and we will groom around his or her needs. In many cases arthritic dogs find it very hard to stand and bear their weight for long periods of time. In these cases we will: Schedule 2 groomers at the same time for additional support to take the weight off of his or her joints. A second groomer will also reduce the amount of grooming time it will take to complete the groom. Minimal bending of joints to get to those hard to reach areas. As always make the dog feel safe, secure and comfortable. Provide rest breaks between bathing, drying and grooming as needed. Provide a comfortable waiting area while awaiting client pick up.
